Parents are the first and primary teachers of the faith for their children. This is a privilege and a responsibility given to each parent when their child is born. Christ the King Parish offers many opportunities to grow in faith, geared towards different age groups:
CCD - Religious Education (CCD) classes are offered on are offered on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:45 pm at the Seton Center for children in 1st grade through Confirmation (10th grade). The Faith and Life series by Ignatius Press is primarily used along with additional programs and activities. Classes are scheduled from September through April.
Sunday School – Children aged 4 & 5 are welcomed to join our Sunday school program, which is offered during the 10am Mass from October through mid-April. Children are dismissed after Mass begins to study their age-appropriate lesson on the gospel in the parish basement. Parents pick up their children after Mass.
Vacation Bible School – This is week long program offered in the evenings in June for our students up through grade 6.
