Christ the King Ministries

We are called to use our God given talents and to not bury them in the sand for safe keeping, as we heard a few weeks ago in the Gospel. To be active is to give back, therefore I’m asking each of you to prayerfully consider being on one of our four committees here at Christ the King. We only meet 5 times over fall, winter and spring and break for the summer. It is through these four committees that you help facilitate every aspect of our community of faith. Come bring your ideas and let’s move forward in planting the seeds of God’s vineyard! 

  • Kitchen Angel

    Do you know of anyone in the parish who is temporarily in need—recovering from surgery, illness, the birth of a baby, or some other life event-and would like a home—cooked meal? If so, please leave a message at 715-659-4480, option 5, and our Kitchen Angel will be in contact!


    Our Kitchen Angels offer support by preparing delicious meals for those in need. When we learn about an individual or family who could benefit, a volunteer will get in touch to arrange a meal on a day that fits your schedule. Everyone has a favorite dish—why not share it with someone who could use it?

  • Bereavement Ministry

    ​Losing a loved one is never easy. 


    Our bereavement minister will be with you from the beginning. We know you may have many questions. We want you to know you are not going through this loss alone. We are here to walk with you.


    The bereavement minister will contact you once notified by the funeral home.

  • Welcome Ministry

    The mission of the Welcome Ministry is to make everyone who enters our doors feel welcome, seen, and excited about our faith.  The Welcome Ministry provides welcome baskets for all new parishioners. These baskets include parish information, faith-based books, committee and small-group information, treats, and, of course, a few personal touches. We hope every new parishioner has a positive experience as they transition into our church family.

  • Homebound Ministry


    Our homebound ministry delivers communion to parishioners who can not make it to weekend Mass due to illness, age, or surgery recovery. Please contact the parish office to be added to our list.

    The Sunshine Card Ministry wants to bring a smile to all our parishioner's faces. We currently send out the following cards


    Birthday cards to our parishioners 80 years old and older

    Christmas cards to our parishioners 80 years old and older

    Christmas cards to our seminarians

    Easter cards to our homebound

    Special occasion, get well, thinking of you cards


    If someone you know is sick and/or lonely and would love to receive a special card in the mail, please let us know.


    We are also always accepting card and stamp donations.
