The Sisters are coming! The Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist from Ann Arbor Michigan are coming in June!
We have two sisters, Sister Martin Thérèse and Sister Mary Avila coming to Christ the King on June 9-16! They will be staying at the rectory. June 11-15 they will be offering Summer Camp for our students who will be entering grades 1-8 in the fall. We just found out they could come and details are being updated day by day. They will be flying into Minneapolis on June 9 and departing from Minneapolis on June 15.
Join us during the week:
Tuesday, June 12 - the Sisters will give a talk from 6:30-7:30pm at church. Refreshments to follow.
Thursday, June 14 - we will hold a parish pot luck at 6pm in the church basement -
all are welcome!
Please check out the table in the gathering room to volunteer, there are many sign-up sheets. There are many opportunities to help! Registration forms for the children’s Summer Camp with the Sisters may also be found in the gathering room.
Finally, please pray for safe travels for the Sisters and that we have a successful week!
